Elevator constructors know their trade. The use of tradesmen mean safety is rule number one - for you and all of us.

We are proud of the fact that NHO - Conferation of Norwegian Business and Industry - refer to our wages and benefits as being "far too lucrative".

As a trade union and part of the LO family - Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions - it is important for elevator constructors to maintain and strenghten union benefits obtained through many years of hard bargaining. Today the NHO is working hard to tear up these agreements, not only within the elevator industry, but all trade unions. This is in short what we call plain and down-to-earth "union-busting". This is a threat to all of us.
